AIR National Survey Brief Reports Published

The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) is pleased to announce the publication of the 2024 AIR National Survey brief reports, offering insights into the structures, roles, and activities of institutional research and effectiveness (IR/IE) offices across U.S. higher education.

The AIR National Survey is a long-standing, longitudinal study designed to capture national trends and practices within IR/IE functions. The 2024 iteration collected data from hundreds of U.S. degree-granting institutions and included new areas of inquiry such as the roles of institutional effectiveness offices, the adoption of artificial intelligence, the maturity of data functions, and the prevalence of chief data officer roles.
