Job dutiesThe successful candidate for the Institutional Research Data Specialist position will:

Facilitate the installation and implementation of Starfish Early Alert and Signal Vine Digital Messaging systems, as well as the policies and procedures necessary to fully use and maintain the systems.

Collaborate with Retention and Student Success Coordinators and the grant’s advising coordinator to develop training and provide support for using these systems by faculty, staff, and students.

Analyze data collected from the student retention support systems, cross-institutional student success initiatives, and project assessment tools.

Produce evaluation reports to track project progress toward strategic benchmarks and outcomes.
QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in software system implementation in higher education
Experience working with personnel, processes, policies and structures in higher education
Experience in advising alert reporting tolls
Proficient in quantitative data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and SPSS
Salary range$40,000 - $60,000
Salary benefitsSalary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision benefits, 24 days of vacation, and participation in the Illinois Universities Retirement System.
