Institution descriptionSouthwest Baptist University, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, has campuses in Bolivar, Mountain View, Salem, and Springfield and offers courses leading both to undergraduate and graduate degrees. Approximately 1,745 on-campus students may choose from 58 programs of study as they pursue a liberal arts-based, career-oriented education. The main campus is located in the city of Bolivar, a community of 10,000 located 23 miles north of Springfield, Missouri.
Job duties* Collect institution-specific data required by HLC and assist departments as needed with data projects for specific accrediting bodies. Provide comparative analysis to benchmark institutions.
* Coordinate campus-surveying efforts, including regular cycles of the course evaluations, College Student Inventory, alumni surveys, and other surveys deemed important to student success or institutional effectiveness.
* Collect institution-specific data as required for the Common Data Set.
* Prepare reports with comparative information and operating results, including an annual comprehensive analysis with comparative benchmark information.
Qualifications* Master degree in a related field such as education, educational research, psychology, social science, or other fields, which has an emphasis in information management, research methodology, and/or statistics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and other office technologies.
* Ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies, such as Colleague and SPSS.
* Excellent work ethic and detail-oriented work practices.
* An analytical mind is needed who enjoys research and assessment and can contribute to the improvement of the campus efforts in these functions.
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Collaborative and collegial attitude.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

* Previous experience in higher education and/or institutional assessment is an advantage.
Salary range$40,000 - $60,000
