Job dutiesThis position provides expertise to the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) in these major areas linked in their scope by supporting the CCCS in operational and strategic planning: Analyze, interpret and present information and research findings on student, faculty and college variables for college strategic planning, problem solving, and decision-making. Identify and interpret student trend data as it applies to long-range and strategic planning.
Apply research findings to enrollment management, marketing and recruitment, academic program and institutional planning and to assist in the development of long term strategies necessary to insure the long term health of the institution.
Coordinate and perform institutional research/data collection as required for accrediting bodies, state and federal agencies, and information needs of college personnel.
QualificationsMinimum Educational Requirements and Substitution (if appropriate)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum Experience Requirements

This position requires three (3) years of experience (preferably in an educational environment) working with complex research projects and incorporating a variety of research methods. Experience with using statistical software such as SPSS, SAS or R Experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics. Applied experience with productivity software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access Applied experience with data presentation tools and techniques.Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Preferred Experience: Master’s degree in an appropriate field. Thorough understanding of/experience in conducting educational research and applying statistical data analysis methods. Experience with web-based research and reporting tools (e.g. dashboards, web-based data tools and data entry forms. Salary range$60,000 - $80,000
