Did you know that while most IR/IE offices have not explored the potential benefits of generative AI, they believe it could improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work? AIR is excited to host webinars by IR/IE professionals on how they use generative AI within their office. In this webinar, the first two presenters will discuss how they use generative AI to help diagnose error messages received when using R or SAS in querying data. They will also demonstrate how they use ChatGPT to assist in the conversion of legacy SAS code into modern languages like R. The third presenter will demonstrate how they use generative AI to help write VBA code to more efficiently manipulate, clean, and extract data from their many Excel files. They will also discuss how they use it as a starting point in guiding research for their initiatives. Come to this webinar to gain insights into ways to integrate generative AI into your work.

As a result of this experience, participants can use generative AI to:
  • Diagnose error messages.
  • Convert legacy programming code into modern languages.
  • Draft VBA code to manipulate, clean, and extract data from Excel.
  • Guide research initiatives.
