Survey Findings: Examining the Value of Nondegree Credentials

ResearchThe COVID-19 pandemic led to an even greater increase in interest for nondegree and skills training options, but the Center for Education Consumer Insights notes their quality and value has often been debatable. In this article, the organization shares findings from its 2020 Strada-Gallup Education Survey. In examining factors including length of program, field of study, provider, gender, race / ethnicity, generation, and parents’ education, it was determined these nondegree credentials do indeed have positive returns.
