FVT/GE Reporting Deadline Extended to January 15, 2025

  • by AIR

In an announcement on September 13, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education extended the reporting deadline for institutions under the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) rules to January 15, 2025. This extension allows institutions to focus on the current FAFSA cycle. The Department also introduced an early opt-in reporting option for a limited number of schools and is addressing issues with Completers Lists based on institutional feedback. The FVT/GE aims to provide students with transparent financial and outcome information about educational programs.
