IR and IT have a close working relationships at most institutions. But, exactly, what does that relationship look like? Results from the National Survey of IR Offices shows that between 68% and 76% of IR Offices (depending on sector) report to different administrative units compared to IT while 19%-28% (depending on sector) report to the same administrative unit. Only 2% of IR Offices report that they’re housed in the same department as IT.
