Job dutiesThe Office is Institutional Research (OIR) is looking to recruit an Institutional Research Associate to be responsible for the system administration of Academic Analytics and Faculty Staff Research. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming requests to the Institutional Research workflow system, and provides direct supervision of the Research Analyst II.
Examples of duties include:

Oversees and manages incoming request to the Institutional Research Workflow System, and ensures that requests are routed to the appropriate office personnel in a timely manner.
Serves as the primary point of contact for the methodology used in external surveys and rankings that affect the university.
Responsible for coordinating the university’s response to external surveys (e.g. US News & World Reports, Common Data Set, Peterson’s, etc.)
Coordinates the University Fact Book process.
Coordinates the compilation, aggregation, presentation, and dissemination of research conducted in all areas of Institutional Research.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of relational database design.

Experience in the use of a Structured Query Language (SQL) tool (e.g. SQL Developer, Toad, etc.)

Experience with one or more of the following statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R, etc.)

Ability to clearly communicate and accurately present complex analyses using a variety of visual, written and/or verbal formats.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and three years of related experience. Expert knowledge of SQL; Experience reporting to survey entities that request structured data from universities;Experience working with data in a Higher Education environment; Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau).
Salary rangeDependent on qualifications and experience
Salary benefitsSalary range: $55,000 - $59,000
