The Office of Institutional Research and Planning (OIRP), a staff office which reports to the Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor, is dedicated to meeting the data, information, analytical, and planning needs of the Lawrence Campus and the central administration of the University of Kansas.

The Professional Record Online (PRO) system is for faculty use to manage professional information on teaching, research, and service; to generate curriculum vitae, to prepare annual reports, to prepare promotion and tenure candidate CV documents and other university forms or applications; to maintain faculty web pages; and to expand collaboration.
Job dutiesCoordinates university accreditation efforts;
Participates in the preparation and writing of accreditation reports and documents;
Serves as campus expert on questions about institutional accreditation;
Liaison for university assessment efforts;
Coordinates the preparation of materials for use by departments for their self-studies required by program review;
Conducts training on the use of the tool in which program review materials are housed;
Plans and develops quantitative and qualitative studies across a spectrum of areas in support of senior university administrators' decision making;
Designs conducts, and analyzes survey research;
Supervises and directs the work of the Professional Record Online (PRO) team;
Interacts with campus constituencies regarding PRO;
Serve as contact with Digital Measures regarding contract issues;
Provides staff support and/or serves as a member on university committees;
May supervise staff and students.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Master's degree and three years of relevant experience OR doctoral degree and one year of relevant experience;
Established computing and statistical skills using standard workplace productivity software for word processing, spreadsheet analyses, databases, statistical analyses, graphics, etc.;
Excellent writing skills as evidenced by a writing sample submitted with application materials;
Work experience that required effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines;
Work experience that required working independently and collaboratively in a variety of situations;
Previous experience that required attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree;
Minimum of three years' professional experience in a higher education setting;
Experience conducting survey research;
Familiar with administrative structure, policies, and procedures at the University of Kansas;
Strong verbal communication skills as demonstrated during the interview process.
Salary rangeDependent on qualifications and experience
Salary benefitsMinimum salary is $71,000
