Job dutiesThe Information Technology Department is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to join their team.

Primary responsibilities include:

Database modelling & data warehouse architecture.
ETL processes, tools and query languages.
Establishing the framework for data quality and reliability.
Constructing the data architecture to establish a 21st century institutional data warehouse.
Monitor the data warehouse and business intelligence system performance and integrity, and provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.
Design data warehouse schema and define extract/translate/load (ETL) processes for the data warehouse.
Research new opportunities for data acquisition.
Serves as a subject matter expert for all data contained within the data warehouse.
Creates, implements and enforces standard operating procedures, recommends policies and processes for existing and new services within the defined function/scope for enterprise data warehousing.
Diligently identifies and pursues data anomalies to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree and certification in relevant major OR equivalent experience in the field. Master’s preferred.
Five years relevant experience.
Experience with data integration software (e.g. SAS Data Integration Studio).
Experience with database management system software (e.g. SQL Server).
Experience with ETL software.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and lead change.
Understanding of data visualization, dashboard and infographic tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, SAS BI).
Experience designing and documenting ETL processes and tuning ETL performance.
Experience with higher education data.
Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and lead change.

Ability to juggle multiple projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum approaches for project management.
Salary range$60,000 - $80,000
